Sick with the Flu!

Noah got the flu (type B) the week before Thanksgiving.  He had already received the flu shot about 6 weeks before but only got a mild case.  He started out with a cough on 11/15 that got worse throughout the next day until he started running fever.  At that point, we took a trip to the doctor.

12 Month Checkup

Noah's 12 month checkup was on March 28th. His stats were:
Weight-22 lbs. 14 oz. (52%)
Length-31.5 in. (92%)
He also got 3 shots on this visit.

Again?

Well, I woke up this morning and have lost my voice again. Great, just in time for Easter dinner that I am hosting at my house tomorrow.

Sore throat and voice loss

Nothing much going on right now. I have had a sore throat since Monday but it barely hurts today. Thank goodness because I really didn't want to go to the doctor to have them tell me something I already knew! I started to lose my voice on Wednesday night. It sure was interesting trying to talk to physicians and nurses on the phone yesterday. I even had one nurse say that he was going to put me on speakerphone so everyone could listen to me, too. I guess he is easily amused. But, I can't blame him since I can manage to squeak out a high pitched whisper that sounds as if I have been smoking for 40 years.
