Finally!

Well, after much hard work and determination, I am finally graduating next Friday. It's about time and Brian is ecstatic. He can finally have his wife back. I'll post pictures of the ceremony after it takes place.

Washington DC

Well, we went to DC last week and had a very nice vacation for the most part. We did a lot of walking, though, and were pooped every night. I think we must have walked 10 miles last Wednesday. We took lots of pictures but I'll only post a few because y'all get the idea and who has time for all of that anyway? We actually arrived at Arlington National Cemetery in time to see the changing of guards (picture posted above). It was awesome! There was even a soldier there in crowd with us wearing his army greens that stood at attention the entire time the change was taking place.

It was in the 90s the whole week except for the day we left (Saturday). It was in the mid to upper 80s. Of course, when we got back to Texas, that was another story. The flight attendant's exact words as we were heading from DC to DFW was, "Oh my God! It's 104 degrees!" I sure didn't miss that while we were gone.
