MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Noah's Santa beard that was made from cotton balls for 24 days. After the last ball was placed, he knows that Santa Claus will be there that night with goodies for him to see on CHRISTMAS the next morning!
Cookies and eggnog for Santa.

Vacation to Colorado Springs

We left for Colorado Springs on December 16th after I got off of work. We stopped in Dumas,  TX for a few hours of sleep around 1am and then continued on to our destination.

Going through New Mexico.

We passed by the Welcome to Colorado sign too quickly so I don't have a picture of that.  Here is a picture of Noah once we went to Misty and Paul's house to visit.  He found the chocolate!

The mountains were beautiful!

At The Garden of the Gods
The Balancing Rock

We spent some time at the North Pole on December 18th.

After the North Pole, we spent a little while at the Manitou Cliff Dwellings.

For dinner that night, we ate at Applebee's and a nice lady made Noah a Rudolph from balloons.

Wednesday had blizzard-like conditions for most of the morning so once the roads cleared, we went out and about.  We made our way back to Misty and Paul's eventually and got a picture of the cousins before we left.

On Thursday, we went to the Olympic Center for a bit.

The little pond was partly frozen from the blizzard the day before.

Olympic Strength
After the Olympic Center, we made our way to the Cog Railway to go to the top of Pike's Peak.

Snow!

Going Up!

Getting Higher!

Almost there!

The Rocky Mountains!

We made it to the top!
A few pictures of the scenery from top of Pike's Peak.

We came back home on Friday, December 21, 2012.  We got home 10 minutes before midnight and during all that traveling, the world didn't end, not even once.
